Enjoyed my walk today. Seems to be turning slightly milder.

Bird Count:- 3- Great Tit, 5- Blue Tit, 2- Marsh Tit, 2- Robin (photo), 2- Carrion Crow, 2- Wood Pigeon, 2- Magpie, 1- Skylark (singing in meadow), 10+ Long-tailed Tits, 1- Jay, 2- Buzzard, 2- Chaffinch, 1- Lesser Black-backed Gull (photo), 1- Song Thrush,

1- March Moth.

The Long-tailed Tits were performing well again today! Two days running photographed one in the air…

This is Literally a real pet hate of mine. Dog owners who hang their Dogs Poo Bags off trees! This one was just yards away from a Dog Poo bin. I have a dog of my own, and would never do this….


Loved how this Robin popped up on this hedge…


Lesser Black-backed Gull over…


Highlight of the day was finding this March Moth, although common, this is the first time I’ve seen one. Also I was lucky I needed the toilet, or I may have missed my first moth of the year! Just shows it pays to keep your eyes peeled everywhere…


Not such an Highlight…Looks like this Small Tortoiseshell emerged from hibernation to early. This was taken on the window sill on The Staffordshire Wildlife Trust Wardens Office…
