17.10.15.

Saturday.

Feeling cooler than yesterday, and not much sun about today.

I can’t believe I found my second new moth in just two days. Todays new moth is called a Streak, and it had settled on one of the Wardens Office lights. Strange thing was I had finished looking, and was just walking off, when I noticed the moth out the corner of my eye. The other moth on the light is what I believe is a very dark November Moth…

There were 6 November Moths this morning, with this one at eye level, which makes my life a lot easier….

The Green-brindled Crescent was still there. Decided to photograph it early morning and dinner time. Mainly did this to see if I could get good results of the metallic green on its wings. The difference in light is amazing….

I also went with Ken round the farm, which is only up the road from HC. The highlight had to be a Grey Wagtail that dropped in….
