Upton Warren.

Me and Ken decided to go over Upton Warren this afternoon, and add Curlew Sandpiper to our year lists. Although distant the 3 Juveniles moved across the flashes a number of times…

It was really interesting watching this Common Sandpiper checking most of the cracks in the dry mud. It did catch something a number of times, but I never managed to see what…

There was a good number of Curlews. They were calling most of the late afternoon, something I just love to hear. On the last photo..is this Curlew telling it’s mates it’s found a Hippo shaped piece of mud?
